On average visitors from Germany spend close to $6500 during their visit, often researching thoroughly their itinerary. German visitors seek to experience nature, culture and enjoy spending time outdoors. 80% of holiday makers will book through traditional travel agents, 5% through online travel agencies and the remainder booking directly.

In general, this demographic has low interest for outdoor adventure activities but high interest in nature-based activities such as whale watching or bathing in geothermal hot pools – French visitors have a keen desire to experience a sense of discovery. Hiking cycling and Fishing also tend to be strong motivators for this market.

Ulike their European counterparts, Dutch visitors have a high disposable income and will often indulge in once-in a lifetime experiences such as helicopter flights and private guided experiences.
